You already know how to write a letter in Microsoft Word, but how do you make custom envelopes?

Just follow these easy steps.

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Click Tools on the menu bar.
  3. Point to Letters and Mailings, and click Envelopes and Labels.
  4. Type in the “Delivery address” and “Return address” fields.
  5. Check the Omit box, if a Return address is not wanted.
  6. You can click on Options to change the envelop type and also change envelope feeding options.
  7. Then click the Add to Document button, which closes the window.
  8. This will add the envelope to your document. When you are ready, you can print the envelope.
